All sows are guaranteed to be carrying a litter. All sows will have been confirmed pregnant by ultrasound TWICE prior to the sale by a licensed veterinarian. All due dates listed are 114 days from the 1st dose of semen.


Pictures taken of sows due prior to August 17th were taken on June 18th 2017. Pictures of sows due after August 18th will be taken July 2nd-4th.

All purebred animals selling are registered and pedigrees will be transferred following the sale.

We are willing to guarantee that each sow is carrying a 6 pig TOTAL minimum at the time of sale and those 6 pigs being worth 40% of the purchase price of the bred sow. Any requests for an adjustment will need to be made within 48 HOURS of farrowing the sow to JOE EGGERS, and will be the SELLERS choice of cash refund or dollar value in credit ONLY!

We will NOT be guaranteeing the sows any further than what is stated above. Here is our reason why. Every sow in the offering is proven and has farrowed previously and successfully at Eggers Showpigs. Every crossbred, the York, and most of the Durocs have actually farrowed multiple times successfully and with that being known, and the fact, we the SELLER, are unable to control the many factors that go into a successful late gestation and farrowing (temperature, amount of feed fed, assistance needed farrowing in a timely manner, etc) thus, we will not guarantee the sow any further. If an unfortunate circumstance occurs that a sow dies after purchase before you take possession of her we WILL make a full refund of the purchase amount. Also any rare circumstance of a sow death prior to her due date after the BUYER takes possession will be taken care of on a case by case basis, with immediate notification to SELLER of the situation.

No guarantee of any kind will extend beyond the day of farrowing (Rebreeding, pre-wean mortality, etc)

Examples to help with clarity of our guarantee:
$5000 bred sow, $2000 value in the pigs, she lays down has 3 pigs, the BUYERS adjustment from the SELLER will be the SELLERS CHOICE of $1000 in buying credit or $1000 refund.

$5000 bred sow, $2000 value in the pigs, she lays down has 10 pigs total, 3 alive 7 dead, there will be NO adjustment.

$5000 bred sow, $2000 value in the pigs, she lays down has 10 dead pigs, there will be NO adjustment.

$5000 bred sow, $2000 value in the pigs, she starts to farrow, you find her in the evening with 3 pigs, you go to bed, wake up the next morning and still only 3 pigs, but you also find a dead sow because she needed assistance and from there it went horribly bad when none was given in a timely manner. Your adjustment from me will be MY CHOICE of $1000 in buying credit or $1000 refund. You may ask why wouldn’t it be $4000, My guarantee is for a 6 pig minimum only, as all of these sows have proven to be able to farrow and raise at least 6 pigs successfully.

Sows can be picked up at the farm starting on July 10th!

Southwest Delivery - Trailer will be leaving between July 11th - 15th weather permitting.
Traveling south on I-35 to Gainesville, TX and then West to Wichita Fall, TX, with scheduled stops along the route. Stops will be set up on July 10th as needed.

Bob will be the main West Coast delivery option His first trip west after the sale will not be until July 19th-21st time frame, THIS WILL BE AN ISSUE FOR SOME OF THOSE BRED TO FARROW BEFORE OR DURING HIS TRIP--please plan your purchases according. He will have both trailers in the Midwest at this time and will be covering both I-80 and I-40 back to the West coast. Contact him for more information on exact dates and route.

Eastern Delivery - Trailer will be leaving between July 11th - 15th weather permitting.
Traveling East on I-80 to the Quad Cities, then East via I-74 to Indianapolis, then East on I-70 to Dayton, OH, with scheduled stops along the route. Stops will be set up on July 10th as needed.

We will work with everyone in IA, MN, SD, NE individually to schedule times to meet and deliver sows ASAP starting July 10th, if the any of the above routes do not service your area.

Summer heat will play a major roll in delivery and we will do our best to take this into account. It is possible that most of the meeting times on these delivery trips need to be during the night, so please be considerate of that, our goal is doing what is best for the bred sows we are delivering.

Full payment including the 10% buyer's premium must be received in 3 business days from the close of bidding on all auctions. Late fees are subject to a 12% finance charge after the fourth day. A fee of $50 will be assessed on all returned checks and after 3 days on all late payments and the bidder may be denied access to future auctions. If your credit card is denied more than 3 times a $25 processing fee will be applied. If payment has not been received and/or delivery arrangements not been agreed upon within 7 days post auction, the seller has the right to reclaim property and resell it in any manner deemed necessary. As the original purchaser you will be responsible for paying any and all differences between the original sale price on auction day and the resale price.

All bidding and payments are in US Dollars. A ten percent (10%) buyer's premium is in effect for this auction and will be added to the final auction bid to determine the actual final auction sale price. Example - $750 auction bid = $825 final sale price.

INVOICING: An invoice with payment instructions will be sent to each buyer's registered e-mail address at the close of bidding. If you do not receive an e-mail invoice within 12 hours after the close of bidding please contact our office. Please be aware at the conclusion of the auction the realized bid prices are posted. This amount does not include the buyer's premium that will be added to the final bid price and shown on your invoice. Payment in full, including the 10% buyers premium, is expected immediately after the auction and before any livestock or merchandise is exchanged. Failure to complete the payment terms as stated above will result in forfeiture of animals purchased, legal action, and negative feedback reported to the credit bureau. Be sure you are capable of paying immediately and realize your bids are not conditional upon financing. The auction company reserves the right to charge the entire purchase price, buyer's premiuim, and late fees to the credit card on file if payment is not made by the 3rd business day after the close of bidding. All bids placed at or above the starting bids will be sold to the highest bidder!

DELIVERY OF LOTS: Please contact the seller to discuss any delivery options that might work for you. Each seller will do their best to work with you, but it is important to discuss delivery BEFORE the sale date. If you need delivery assistance or have questions, call ahead before you bid. No animals or auction items will be delivered without proof of payment. HEALTH PAPERS: Furnished upon request for each individual lot. Special testing or export health testing will be at the buyer's expense. Potential buyers please call your state vet office for permits, requirements, etc. This will need to be done in advance and in a timely manner.

REGISTRATION PAPERS: Transfered to the new owner at the seller's expense after payment. Please register for a bid number exactly the way you want the pedigree transfered. The transfer of all pedigree's is the responsibility of the seller to the buyer.
